Celebrating New York during the wintertime, this company holiday party featured each room of the Hilton hotel designed as a replica of one of New York’s most iconic venues. Each separate room highlighted the most quintessential elements of the venue to create an authentic and transformative experience.
The main ballroom was reimagined as the electrifying Studio 54. The G in the word “Google” was created to mimic the moon, while both O's were constructed out of disco balls, completing the “man and the moon” motif. The massive 12 foot by 12 foot bar featured lightboxes of the iconic figures who lit up Studio 54— Prince, Michael Jackson and Liza Minelli, to name a few.
The legendary CBGB was the muse behind our next masterpiece. At the entrance, guests were greeted by a custom awning constructed from wire and stretched spandex fabric. The windows in the entryway were made with identical materials to the windows at CBGB. The bar itself was adorned with custom printed wallpaper, which we designed to look as though it were made of flyers. Adding actual flyers on top of the wallpaper enhanced this effect. The rustic high top tables replicated the seating arrangements at CBGB and brought the whole room together.
The renowned CopaCabana has been a staple of the New York City nightclub scene since its opening in 1940. This white banquette featuring custom pillows and explosions of plush, white feathers brought the spirit of the CopaCabana to life. The mirrored walls were highlighted by giant, printed wall decals from our graphic design studio.
